BLUESKY
The COVID-19 pandemic affects air pollution. Within the BLUESKY mission, led by Max Planck Institue for Chemistry and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), concentrations of trace gases and pollutants in the air over European urban conurbations and in the air corridor to North America are measured. The aim of these research missions is to assess how reduced emissions from industry, road, and especially air traffic are changing atmospheric chemistry and physics.
