On the 18^th of December 2015 the GW-LCYCLE mission 2016 started with a test flight of the FALCON research aircraft from Oberpfaffenhofen. enviscope GmbH and its partner Gomolzig Flugzeug- und Maschinenbau (GFM) contributed with the recertification of several instruments after modification. Furthermore, a new camera system (FALCON_SV) for the detection of gravity waves in the upper mesosphere has been certified by enviscope GmbH and GFM for deployment on the FALCON aircraft.
