We are looking for you– to strengthen our team in Frankfurt-Rödelheim – from the next possible date:

 

Design Engineer / Mechatronics Technician for Construction (m/f/d)

Your job: Developing design solutions in a team and implementing them electrically

  • Development of design and technical solutions for the adaptation of in-situ and remote sensing measurement technology to different types of aircraft

  • Design of electrical and electronic components

  • Creation of wiring diagrams

  • Further development of meteorological dropsondes, environmental measurement drones and their data transmission

  • Electrotechnical as well as mechanical design of measuring systems and controls

  • Programming of microcontrollers in the programming languages “C, C++ or similar”

  • Qualification in the laboratory, certification documentation for use in aviation

  • Installation in/on the measuring platform and commissioning

  • Support and maintenance of the measuring systems during the measurement operations

Your profile: Design engineer / mechatronics technician (m/f/d) with an interest in practical implementation

  • University Polytechnic or degree as an engineer in the field of mechatronics, alternatively vocational training as an electrical engineer / mechatronics technician, preferably in aviation

  • Affinity for atmospheric research and/or aviation

  • Enjoyment for changing and flexible activities

  • Very good knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, LabView desirable

  • Very good knowledge of CAD design, preferably in SolidWorks

  • Good communication skills, German and English

  • Systematic and goal-oriented way of working with enjoyment for teamwork
